The Impact of Using Facebook as the Media of Learning Academic Writing Skills on English Foreign Learners (EFL) I. Introduction In this millennial era, social media has become one of the things that cannot be avoided. People around the world usually use it for communication and entertainment purpose. Besides, Moorman and Smith (2011) explained if social media such as Facebook provide the users to interact, express, share and create content about anything. By looking at those features that are provided, social media also has a potential to be implemented in Education. However, not all of the social media cannot be applied in the teaching and learning process. School or university have to observe what subject and what social media which is recommended or suitable to be implemented in process of learning.
